Longshot 4 Competition DLG - ARF

The Longshot 4 DLG (Discus Launched Glider) ARF benefits from every aspect of the continuous development and improvement across the entire, well respected Longshot series of machines over the years.

This new Longshot, Longshot 4, is an FIA class F3K contest level performer, with wings and tail set of double layered covered foam cores providing high rigidity and long term accuracy of flying geometry. The wing spar is made of two unidirectional carbon strips.

The features and improvements over previous versions of Longshot are:

• Reinforced boom with rigidity increased by aproximately 50%.
• Carbon/Kevlar fuselage pod. This is slightly longer to compensate for the boom weight.
• Optimized tail set accuracy with a larger fin for better stability.
• Aileron servo placement is closer to the model's axis in order to decrease the inertia moment to better damp rotation after release.
• Micro tail set linkages give precise control and yet still allow simple dismantling of the horizontal stab for transport.
