The Erwin

The Erwin DS   is one of the most robust models on the slope. Designed for dynamic soaring and sports flying it is built with the stress level of ds  and ease of flying in mind.The Erwin has a carbon glass carbon sandwich and is finished clear so you can see all the beauty of the Erwin's carbon. The kit comes with full build and setup instructions and accessories for linkages. One unique part of the Erwin is the tape on wings, which is designed to shear the tape on bad landings, this takes the enersha away and helps the model from picking up damage.

The Erwin is available in the DS version and a lighter sports version. Also you can have varnhised colour on the Erwin top surface, yellow, white, red. Wing Bags also available Prices are:

Construction:
Fuselage:
- CFR/GFR, with CFR rovings
Wing:
- cutted wing (in the middle) --> little package easy to handle in the car or an backpack.
- CFR/GFR shell construction without support material. That's why the surface is more resistant against damage.
- spar with CFR/GFR-hose
- Elliptical lift distribution
- crescent-shaped wing-tip
- HQW/1,5/7 mod. - very good for use with plain flaps
V-tail:
- CFR shell construction without support material
- spar with CFR/GFR-hose

Prefabrication:

 
- Cut ailerons, plain flaps and elevator with silicon-mounting
- wing is cut in the middle
- prebuilt hole for ballast
- pre-cut servo-boxes in the wing, covers enclosed
- the mounting of the V-tail is pre-fabricated
- building instruction enclosed
